MicTel Lab research group includes researchers from electronics, materials, electrical engineering, computer science and engineering. Curently MicTel Lab Key Personnel is as follows:

Associate Prof. Constantinos T. Angelis was born in Arta, Greece, on May 15, 1968. He graduated in Physics from the Physics Department in the University of Ioannina, Greece in 1992, and he received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in solid-state electronics from the University of Ioannina, Greece in 1996 and 2000, respectively. Today is a full-time Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications, Technological Educational Institute of EPIRUS and a fellow researcher at the Electronics & Telecommunications Laboratory at the Physics Department of the University of Ioannina, GREECE. His research interests are in the fields of Electrical Characterization (AC, DC) of Microelectronic Devices, Reliability of Microelectronic Devices, Electronic properties of semiconductor devices, Electric properties of thin film semiconductor silicon transistors, Effect of electric fatigue on the reliability of the above transistors, Electronic low frequency noise in semiconductor devices, RF transistor design, Wireless transceiver design, Radio-frequency and high-frequency wireless system design, Software Radio Systems and Digital Signal Processing Techniques, Adaptive (smart) antennas for wireless networks, array antenna beamforming and Signal Propagation. He has over 25 scientific publications in the above areas and he is recognized by more than 45 citations in the citation index. He has participated in several EU funded projects and various national projects. C.T. Angelis is a member of the IEEE.

Christos Koliopanos graduated in Physics from Department of Physics, University of Thessaloniki, Greece at 2000 and he received his M.Sc. in “Material Science” from University of Thessaloniki, Department of Physics at 2002 with subject of research “Electronics devices material”. His current research interests are in the fields of Microelectronic and semiconductor devices, Electronic properties of semiconductors and Embedded Telecommunication Systems. Currently he is a member of the Microelectronics and Telecommunications Research Laboratory of Technological Institute of Epirus.

Constantinos Lalos received his Diploma degree in Electronics Engineering from Polytechnic of Bari in 2002 and his MBA in Digital Electronics Design Polytechnic of Bari in 2004. He has been working as Junior Design Engineer, NEP, Bari Italy, 10/2002 – 07/2004 and Application Engineer, ST Microelectronics, Brussels Belgium, 09/2004 - 02/2005. Currently he is a member of the Microelectronics and Telecommunications Research Laboratory of Technological Educational Institute of Epirus.

Spyridon Chronopoulos graduated in Physics from Department of Physics – University of Ioannina, Greece and he received his M.Sc in the University Program of “Modern Electronic Technologies” from University of Ioannina - Department Of Physics with subject of research “Design and construction of a digital data transmitter using QPSK modulation”. Today is Phd Postgraduate in the University Program of Information and Communications Technology of Department of Physics – University of Ioannina, Greece. His current research interests are in the fields of Wireless transceiver design, Radio-frequency and high-frequency wireless system design and Embedded Systems. Currently he is a member of the Microelectronics and Telecommunications Research Laboratory of Technological Institute of Epirus.

Athanasios Koumasis received his B.Sc. degree in electronics control engineering from Birmingham University, England, in 1979, and his M.Sc. degree in theory and practice of automatic control systems from the control systems centre UMIST, England, in 1981. Since 1982, he has worked as an electromechanical engineering constructor. Currently he is a lecturer assistant in Technological Educational Institute of Epirus and doing his PhD degree in the Department of Physics, University of Ioannina, GREECE. His research interests are smart antenna design and photonic technology.
