Microelectronics and Telecommunications Research Laboratory (MicTel Lab) runs since 2006 and works on designing and implementing microelectronic and telecommunication devices, circuits, systems and applications.

MicTel Lab is a multidisciplinary research laboratory that includes researchers from electronics, materials, electrical engineering, computer science and engineering.

One of MicTel Lab's strategic priorities is to develop collaborative relationships with other stakeholders including universities, research institutes and local and international companies. Relationships are facilitated in a number of ways. These include joint research and development programmes operated under a number of alternative methods such as

  • Collaborative research and/or development, typically through a pre-defined contractual relationship,
  • Government assisted grant programmes and
  • National and EU funded projects

Research at the Microelectronics and Telecommunications Laboratory (MicTel Lab) includes the fields of microelectronics, telecommunications, circuit theory, electromagnetic fields, bioengineering and microelectronic measurements.
